Section 01

Engagement of Service

This warranty policy ("Warranty Policy" or "Policy") describes the warranty coverage provided by Pepperwool Inc, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and brand divisions (collectively, "Company," "we," "us," or "our") for products purchased through pepperwool.com and any of its authorized retailers.

By purchasing and using a Pepperwool product, you ("User," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read this Policy and agree to its terms. This Policy may change from time to time — your continued use of our products and services after revisions means you accept those changes.

Section 02

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Pepperwool warrants its knives to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product to the original purchaser. If a Pepperwool knife is found to be defective under normal use, we will repair or replace it at our discretion.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, unauthorized modification, or normal wear and tear.

2.1 — Non-Warranted Items

The following conditions and uses are not covered under this warranty:

  • Prying — Knives are cutting tools and are not designed for prying, chiseling, or use as screwdrivers. Damage from prying is not covered.
  • Folding knife guidelines — Folding knives should not be subjected to lateral stress on the blade. Do not use a folding knife as a fixed blade. Broken locking mechanisms due to misuse are not covered.
  • Broken handles — Handle damage caused by impact, dropping, or using the knife as a hammer is not covered.
  • Counterfeits — Warranty coverage applies only to authentic Pepperwool products purchased from authorized retailers. Counterfeit or knock-off products are not covered under any circumstances.
  • Modifications — Any knife that has been modified, altered, sharpened improperly, or had its blade re-profiled by a third party is not covered. This includes aftermarket handle scales, clip replacements, or any other alteration to the original factory configuration.
  • Normal wear and tear — Scratches, blade dulling from regular use, clip wear, and cosmetic blemishes that occur through normal use are not considered defects.
  • Rust and corrosion — Damage from exposure to saltwater, chemicals, or failure to properly maintain and dry the knife is not covered.
  • Heat damage — Discoloration or loss of temper caused by exposing the blade to excessive heat (grinding, torching, etc.) is not covered.
